Introducing Our Staff

Our friendly, professional staff of Employment Support Counsellors has over 30 years of combined community experience. We work with a vast number of businesses, employers, community agencies and services to find and arrange the assistance that you need. We offer personal ongoing support to assist you each step of the way to successful employment.

Gloria has worked in the retail sector for several years as a Manager of Human Resources. She has supported people to develop their skills and to learn how to problem-solve and multi-task.

Gloria describes herself as a very patient yet persistent person, which enables her to work well helping others to complete their tasks.

Gloria devoted several years to achieve her career goals and now she values spending quality time with her family. With respect to her work she says, “I feel that Job Quest is a very exciting new organization, which is there for people who need help to get from the first step into the workforce.”

Prior to coming to Job Quest Kim worked with clients at Career Essentials and John Howard Society in a number of areas such as academic upgrading, employment readiness, basic literacy, unpaid work placements and developing workshops.

With a background in Life Skills Coaching she feels passionate about supporting individuals in reaching their goals. Kim feels that Job Quest is an essential service in the community and is honoured to be part of the Job Quest team.

As the most recent addition to the Job Quest employment counselling team, Cindy brings with her a fresh perspective to employment endeavours, with experience in employment counselling, academic upgrading, adult literacy, anger management and addiction issues.
 
Cindy has resided in the North Durham area for the past 20 years. She returned to college as a mature student to obtain her Drug & Alcohol Addictions Counsellor Diploma. She strongly believes in helping others reach their full potential and realize their dreams, big and small.  “I aspire to inspire others.’

Professionals who work for Job Quest and who assist people to find and keep a job.
Holistic
An approach that takes into account the 'whole person' and that recognizes that other parts of a person's life outside of work can affect how they do on the job (and vice versa).
Personal ongoing support
Long-term, one-to-one assistance that is focused on your individual needs, abilities and goals.
