Who is eligible for Job Quest’s services?
You are eligible for Job Quest’s services if you are referred by Ontario Works (also known as social assistance or welfare) or if you are receiving ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Pension) and meet their criteria for employment supports. You are eligible for employment supports, and thus for Job Quest’s services, if you have an employment barrier.

People under 16 years of age cannot use our services. In addition, if you are receiving or eligible to receive assistance from these public or private sources you may not be able to use Job Quest’s services:
 

 
 

Glossary:

 
Criteria
‘Criteria’ means the same thing as ‘requirements.’ In the case of ODSP, you are eligible for employment supports, and thus for Job Quest's services, if you have an employment barrier..
Eligible
To say that you are eligible for Job Quest's services is the same as saying that you can use their services. If you aren't eligible – or are ineligible - that means that you cannot use Job Quest’s services.
Referred
To be referred means that a worker at Ontario Works (also known as social assistance or welfare) has either told you about Job Quest's services, has suggested that you use Job Quest’s services or has contacted Job Quest for you and asked them to provide services to you.
